As the daughter of a Pastor (PKs, where y'all at?!), my faith has always been a big part of my life. After going off to college and getting a taste of the crazy life, I gave my life to Christ in January 2008 and I haven't been the same since! My relationship with Jesus has grown every year and I continue to fall in love with His Word and teachings every day! No matter what new shenanigans I think up, I come to pray and ask God, "Whatcha think about this, Lord?" and patiently wait for nudges I like to call "God Whispers" to guide me in any life decision. I know deep in my heart that He loves me, care for me and knows the number of hairs on my head - that's love, y'all!

Scripture I'm devouring this month:
Finishing Strong - James 1:12
As the year draws to a close, December invites us to reflect on our journey while preparing for a fresh start. This month, my focus is on perseverance—a key to thriving in faith, fitness, and finances. The book of James reminds us, *“Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him”* (James 1:12).
Perseverance requires faith and intentionality, whether it’s staying consistent in our spiritual practice, maintaining health through movement, or stewarding our resources wisely. As we embrace the busy holiday season, let’s remember that small, faithful steps yield lasting rewards.
Applying James 1:12 to our lives means committing to discipline in the areas that matter most. Spiritually, this might look like carving out moments of quiet prayer amid the noise. For fitness, it’s about moving our bodies even on the coldest days to honor the health God has given us. Financially, it could mean curbing impulsive holiday spending and focusing on gratitude instead of excess. Let’s finish the year strong, with hearts anchored in faith, bodies moving in strength, and finances aligned with purpose. May this be a season where perseverance shines, leading us into 2025 with hope and determination.
